We’d be pleased to show you how good your
new smile can look.
Digital
Radiography
We
are proud to use the latest digital x-ray technology,
Planmeca ProMax. Digital technology allows us
to capture your X-Ray images in seconds. No
more waiting for film to develop. The Planmeca
ProMax also minimizes your exposure to radiation.
The ProMax is computer controlled to provide
the best image for your body type. More comfortable
than traditional x-ray procedures, the ProMax
allows us to gather as much information as possible.
This technology not only allows us to view
your images faster, it is environmentally friendly.
As a result, we no longer have to use, store,
and dispose of the chemicals associated with
developing film.
Digital Radiographs also allow us to effectively
share your records if necessary with other health
care providers quickly and efficiently.
Treatment
Rooms
The best patient is an educated patient. At
Calm Lake Dental each treatment room is equipped
with a TV and a state-of-the-art interactive
system to educate our patients about treatment
options. Interactive videos about your treatment
plan along with our detailed explanations will
take the mystery out of dentistry. We’ll
help you eliminate your fears, enhance your
understanding and increase your awareness of
your dental care experience.
Routine
Hygiene
Cleanings
Regular cleanings are important to remove plaque
that may develop even with careful brushing
and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult
to reach on your own. Cleanings remove built-up
bacteria that can lead to periodontal (gum)
disease, cavities and more. So remember, it’s
more than just a cleaning, it’s prevention.
We recommend having your teeth professionally
cleaned every six months. Contact
us to book your appointment today.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
Most cavities are detected during routine dental
examinations. If a cavity is found, we will
talk to you about your treatment options. Once
we have determined the best course of treatment,
we will then treat the tooth involved by removing
the decayed portion of the tooth, and rebuilding
the missing tooth structure with tooth-colored
fillings.
Cosmetic
Show the world your best smile. We offer services
for teeth whitening, veneers, bonding and dental
implants. We’ll give you the solution
that will let you smile, laugh and enjoy your
favorite foods with confidence.
Teeth
Whitening
Make a statement every time you smile with
teeth whitening. We use the GC TiON Tooth Whitening
System to give you a superior white smile.
Lower sensitivity. Reduced chair time. One
“In Office” application of GC TiON
typically brightens teeth about 9 shades and
takes less than 50 minutes.
We also offer a take-home whitening system.
GC TiON Take Home is an effective home whitening
tray system custom fit to wear 2 – 10
hours a day over 7 - 10 day period. You can
even wear the tray all night long while sleeping.
Both treatment options are safe, simple and
affordable. Your results—the “Hollywood
smile” you’ve always wanted.
Veneers
Veneers are a safe alternative for teeth that
are discolored, worn, chipped or misaligned.
Veneers are thin-layers of porcelain that are
bonded onto the front side of teeth giving you
a natural and beautiful smile. Porcelain veneers
are strong, durable and extremely stain resistant.
You’ll be proud to flash your pearly whites.
Bonding
Enhance the appearance of your smile. If you
have gaps, spots, chips or discolorations of
one or several teeth, bonding is a safe and
comfortable alternative. Using materials that
match the shade, translucency and texture of
your teeth, a bonded tooth has the same appearance
as the surrounding teeth. Bonding is usually
a one-visit procedure depending on the extent
of repair. Create a look you’ll love with
bonding.
Dental
Implants
Dental Implants are an aesthetically pleasing
alternative to bridges. Dental implants can
improve appearance, comfort, and speech. They
can also ease the difficulty of chewing.
A dental implant is a small man-made titanium
screw that serves as an anchor for the replacement
tooth. Implant supported replacement teeth look,
feel and function like natural teeth and the
only care is regular brushing and flossing.
Best of all, Calm Lake Dental has the latest
technologies to aid in this procedure. Our digital
x-ray machine allows us to visualize inside
your jaw bones to help us develop your customized
treatment plan.
Improve your confidence, eat better and smile
wide with dental implants.
Mini
Dental Implants (MDI's)
Are you having difficulty adjusting to your
lower dentures? Are you finding it frustrating
to eat certain foods or speak with confidence?
Are you having a hard time keeping your denture
secure in your mouth? If so, Mini Dental Implants
may be right for you.
What are Mini Dental Implants?
MDI’s offer many unique advantages over
traditional dentures. Mini Dental Implants consist
of miniature titanium screws that act like the
root of your teeth and anchor your denture to
your gums – giving you the confidence
to eat and speak without worrying that your
dentures may slip.
The MDI procedure is quick and easy –
performed right here in our office. Unlike traditional
dental implant surgery, this one-step procedure
requires no incision, no stitches and has minimal
healing time. In less than two hours, you can
be on your way with a secure lower denture,
and be able to eat and speak much more comfortably.
Best of all, compared to most traditional implant
surgery, MDI’s are quite affordable –
providing a reasonable and practical solution
that is convenient for patients.
