Joshua
M. Souweine, DDS
Dr. Joshua M. Souweine graduated from the University
of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science
degree. He then attended Indiana University
School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate
of Dental Surgery. After finishing an additional
year of education at the University of Rochester
School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Souweine
completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Souweine, a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts,
realized that he liked Upstate New York so much
he decided to call it home. In early 2006, after
working at several private practices in the
Rochester area, he opened his own practice in
Farmington, NY.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Souweine has a sincere
love of nature and photography. Many of his
photographs are framed and displayed on the
walls of the office.
Dr. Souweine is an appointed Clinical Instructor
of Dentistry at the University of Rochester
School of Medicine and Dentistry. On faculty
at Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital,
Dr. Souweine focuses his time treating developmentally
disabled and physically challenged patients.
He also assists at clinics in the Geneva and
Sodus areas that focus their efforts on the
under-served and migrant populations.
Dr. Souweine and the staff at Calm Lake Dental

Sandburg, RDH
Diane Sandburg makes a visit to the dentist
a sincere pleasure. Her patient-focused, caring
and upbeat personality has been putting patients
at ease for more than 19 years. A Registered
Dental Hygienist, Diane will spend the time
needed to meet your expectations and explain
treatment options.

Office Manager
Lorna,
the friendly voice you hear on the line, has
been with Calm Lake Dental since its inception.
She, too, is a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts
but has been living in the Finger Lakes Region
for more than 14 years.
If you have concerns regarding billing, appointments,
treatment plans or general information, she’ll
take the time to answer questions thoroughly.
Lorna strives to make each patient feel like
part of our dental family.
